Full Garden Makeover

The Brief

To create an elegant entertaining space that worked for both large groups and quiet evenings. The client wanted structure without sacrificing comfort and atmosphere. Integration of garden furniture, fire pit areas, and subtle lighting was essential.

Overview

The client’s large rear garden was underutilised. They envisioned a destination space for al fresco dining and evening gatherings, with designated zones and a polished finish. We introduced a layout that balances openness and intimacy, tied together with lighting and lush greenery for a warm, inviting feel.

Research & Discovery

This project began with an immersive discovery session to understand the client’s vision for a peaceful, meditative space. We studied Japanese garden principles

Solution

A large composite deck was installed with an overhead pergola, housing modular seating and integrated storage. Downlighting and uplighting were used along paths and trees. Mixed evergreen and perennial borders wrapped the space to soften hard edges and add seasonal colour.

“Our garden now feels like a boutique retreat. It’s beautiful, practical, and perfect for evenings with friends or just relaxing alone.”
